"Don't get a PT until you get moving"
Too often Organisational Safety improvement is approached with the same vim and vigour as a new fitness kick.
Unfortunately, this often results in unreasonable expectations, pain, injury, and disappointment. My thoughts? Just get moving!
When you enjoy the activities, and acknowledge the subtle improvements as they happen (ability to walking up a flight of stairs without breaking a sweat), momentum quickly builds.
This new momentum (not the guilt trip you get from your PT) will provide a natural desire to seek out greater challenges and improvements in diet.
Same is true for safety, just get better, 1% at a time, you'll see performance stack up, and industry leadership move from aspiration to approachable.
