#SmarterSimplerSafer and the Labour Hire Industry
This week I was out and about with @NickFitzgerald of @MassRecruitment, conducting site inspections and safety visits for Mass Clients. While discussing success factors, the multiple similarities of good business practice for both Labour Hire and Safety became self evident.
How? well, Labour hire through the lens of #SmarterSimplerSafer means:
Smarter: Ask questions and get the full job brief and client requirements, identify wants vs needs, and ensure that potential hurdles or difficulties are discussed openly and honestly. Managing expectations in this way removes the potential for the process to be frustrated by ambiguity.
Simpler: Actively seek feedback on a continous basis to iron out any issues. This enables you to engage with stakeholders and build rapport, discussing how the feedback has been actioned engages the other party and strengthens relationship.
Safer: Your systems improve in real time, reducing risk. You are dealing with issues or frustrations pro-actively, or at worst, in real time. This will form enduring partnership and trust, as well as longer placements. This means less time on BD or Fire Fighting, and more time on adding value to existing partners.
You become a compelling business partner as your stakeholders see you forward momentum, and genuine concern.
All of which, benefits your business.
