For too long, the design, procurement, planning teams have remained separate from the safety risk management process. The worst part about this, is that these are the people with the greatest ability to effect simple and lasting safety controls.

Managing Risk? Give me a Designer, Planner and a Procurement Manager, and exhausted all options for hard controls. Only then, can we legitimately seek to apply temporary or secondary soft controls.

Lets put the horse back in-front of the cart and make the few crucial changes to enable the workforce to work simpler & safer, so we can get on with the job.
